I'm in the process of choosing between Jetson orion 8GB developer kit and Intel Nuc I3-12 generation. Can find very little practical information so asking for any suggestions and experience working with any of those. I will use the SBC to run a mobile robot using lidar, camera, encoders, gps together with nav2 in the humble branch. I will also have a video feed and ruining and simpler object detection. Most likely both are more than capable at the moment but it would be nice to have the possibility for more advance AI tasks in the future.
