ROS |Is it possible to get x y z turtlebot2 position from kinect camera?

Hi! I'm just learning ROS, and I've started working with TurtleBot2 (ros kinetic). Is it possible to read the robot's position (x, y) on the map based on the Kinect camera? I would like to compare the robot's position from the Kinect with the position from /odom. Thanks for your help! :)
