Camera / IMU calibration

Hi all, I don't know if anyone has worked on this task, maybe could help me. In fact we are working on visual odometry in the context of vehicle. In order to fuse the camera/IMU data, we need to perform the calibration process. I looked for the methods to achieve this step and I have a few questions:

1-I found kalibr package allows to calibrate the camera and the IMU sensor. This package was used for drone, is there anyone used it for a vehicle case?

2-Is there a more suitable method for automotive applications?
